a simple poem - for he who waits for me, always

lover's lullaby
when in dark, turn on the light
the brightness welcomes you
holds you in its arms like a lover's embrace
a moment of heaven
let it go, all the troubles you bear
it has no presence here
l i g h t
love
as i wait, as i will always wait on the other side
in the light, despite my own darkness
i welcome you with my arms
your lover's embrace
beside you always although i am far
no breath has ever been nearer
l o v e
light
when in dark, turn on the light
like a star
i'll shine a way for you to come home.

The first step into becoming a human is speaking. The problems emerge when one tries to stop speaking a language and start speaking feelings. And finally, the hardest of all is to learn to cease speaking at all and start creating the world with a quill, so that what appears on the paper is no longer words, but a reality, unyielding and yet fleeting, with all its glory to be stripped off in one instance by the mere will of creation. So is the deal with spiritual development - it is no different from a realization that everything around us is merely an ink secreted by the essence of our mind - the most powerful quill of all. How I see it, is that through writing, in its purest and most devoted form, one can reach a proximity with the divine – for what is the divine if not a logos dressed up in the emperor’s new suit which we fail to see through. Let it be my inspiration word for this writing blog:).
